The loofah is a 100% natural, hypoallergenic and biodegradable vegetable sponge.

The Luffa is a plant belonging to the Cucurbitaceae family native to Asia, is also cultivated in Italy.

The fruit is mainly used as a vegetable sponge, as at the time of complete maturation it dehydrates losing much of its weight. What remains is exclusively the fibrous body that constitutes the spongy part.
