Rosa Pepe was born in Salerno but grew up in Castel San Lorenzo in a family of farmers for generation surrounded by the land and its fruits.
Her passion for agriculture since young was part of her DNA, led her to graduate in Agricultural sciences.For ten years she worked in Conegliano (TV) where she was involved in the viticulture as service control expert of vineyards. In 1998 she returned to Campania and started to work at the CREA, a horticultural research center in Pontecagnano (SA) there she’s still involved in the recovery, characterization and enhancement of horticultural and viticulture biodiversity.
In 2014 Rosa Pepe became an agricultural entrepreneur and founded the “Azienda Agricola Rosa Pepe”, she had the intention of giving continuity to the work of her parents and grandparents and at the same time contributing to a good future for the “Valle del Calore” and for the entire Cilento, returning the uniqueness of this territory.
Nowadays Rosa Pepe is also the technical referent of the Promoting Committee of the integrated and Rural Districts and referent of the Network of the internal and protected areas of the province of Salerno (Italy).
She also involved in the tourism sector together with CTG of Salerno, the aim is to create animation and territorial development, integrating and networking agriculture, tourism and territory; the only real opportunities for the internal areas.
